Hey there! We are Devon and Rose, we started this blog to share our journey, our stories and hopefully in doing so we can help you along yours! As Homesteaders in the Casper, Wyoming area, we have experience in gardening and homesteading in an arid, cold climate environment, classified as a USDA zone 4. As a farmer, Devon grows microgreens, and raises pasture-raised chickens and grass-fed lamb. At the Homestead level, we both raise laying hens, grow a garden, graze lambs and horses and keep a perpetually busy[read, "messy"] home.
This blog will help you to learn more about growing plants and livestock in the harsh, dry, cold and windy environment that is central Wyoming plains as well as what to do with the products of many of these endeavors. If you would like to support us in our efforts, you can do so by supporting the farm directly, purchasing from our Zazzle or Redbubble stores, or by following our Amazon affiliate link before you make your purchases there. These links can be found in the menu beneath the header. Happy reading and thanks for visiting our Blog!
